From the estate of a collector. Amazing purse with a floral motif and I see castles with pathways. Solid design on both sides. Very Renaissance and quaint. Fabric is like part needlepoint, part brocade. I see stitches and parts of the design are slightly raised. Double compartment with 2 individual clasps. Inside is MINT condition and lined in black fabric with a metal zip pocket and pouch pocket. Brass clasps and hinges. Smooth bottom.Trimmed in vinyl or leather. Hard to tell as there are no markings on the purses maker or material content. Measures 12 x 11 inches and the widest part at the bottom. No tears in the trim. Handle in good condition with no cracks. A beautiful purse to wear or collect. Estate believed this to be from the 40s-50s. Looks to be older than that to me which may have been the goal here. ;) Item History: I buy most of my items from estates, resale shops and yard sales. I, in no way can tell you if this item came from a smoke free, pet free, germ free home. I make sure the item is clean and if it has any odors, I will wash it or air it out the best I can. We do have a dog (Molly, our Westie, hence my user name: GoodGollyMissMollysMomma) but she is limited to the living room and dining room and does not come into my office, shipping area. That does not mean I won’t carry her hair around. As with any used clothing purchase, I recommend you have it cleaned to your liking though it will be sent to you cleaned per eBay’s policies. Just thought I’d mention this for people with these types of sensitivities. Antiques/Vintage Items: I am in no way a professional appraiser but I am very knowledgeable in these areas. I list information based on the quality of the item, the patina, the craftsmanship and my research or information given to me from qualified assessors at estate sales. I will not list an item with a high starting bid unless it is known by me to be rare, collectible or based on book value from my price guidelines. I will not claim something is rare and old unless I am 110% certain.Communication: I am a very busy Mom and due to some personal changes eBay is now my sole business. That means I have to shop, photograph, list and ship while caring for my family. Therefore, I might not always get right back to you on emails. If I don’t answer in a day about an item, please know that I’m not ignoring you, but just a little pre-occupied at the moment. If your item has not been received in a few days, please check your tracking information that PayPal sends you rather than file a Non-receipt dispute through PayPal. EBay is supposed to be a harmonious and fun way to shop and my feedback shows that I’ve never cheated anyone on their purchase. It’s coming…I promise! In rare instances I may ship longer than a week around holidays or if my children are out of school, sick or in the summer. I will always try to forewarn my buyers of these delays.Refunds: My items are used 95% of the time and there is expected wear and tear. I list with lots of details and pictures so it is your responsibility to ask before bidding. If something does not fit, is not shiny, and new (when the item is listed as used), etc…I will not refund you. The ONLY time I refund you is if I have grossly mis-represented an item and it is no longer functional or wearable. If the problem can be fixed with washing again, then it is still in good condition and usable. I expect we will communicate and work this out before filing any disputes. Refunds are given in the manner which you paid me and will be given once returned item is received. Must be returned in condition it was sent. If it is lost or further damaged in return to me, I will not be able to fully refund you.See my other listings for more great items! I appreciate immediate payment but will allow up to 5 days. PayPal or any other paperless payment is accepted. E-Checks are also fine but need to be submitted at auctions end to clear in my 5 day time-frame. Payments not received after the 5th day will get one warning and then I will file a non-payment dispute to resolve. Hopefully, we will not reach that point. I choose what method is the most economical for the size of the item. Large items will be sent via parcel post or ground. Otherwise if the item is small it will be sent via Priority mail or First Class mail. If you need something expedited then let me know and we can calculate additional shipping costs. Otherwise, I ship in a about a week after payment is cleared due to my scheduling and because some buyers have reversed payments after an item has shipped. Insurance is your option and you must ask for it. My invoice will be sent without insurance and only added if you request it. International Buyers: Unfortunately, I do not like to ship internationally. Most of my buyers from out of the country dispute the costs and time it takes when both are out of my control. If you are overseas and are interested in an item, please ask before bidding.
