Wouldn't you just love a classic way to keep your hands warm? Measure the circumference around the widest part (tops of knuckles) of your dominant hand (the hand you write with) and if your measurement is 6 to 6.5 inches, then these are the gloves for you! These were my mother's kidskin gloves from the 1960s. They're a wonderfully rich shade of chocolate brown and are lined with an eggshell colour of silky nylon acetate type fabric. There are no labels or maker's marks on them, but I know they came from New England somewhere. Based on the measurements above, these lovely classic gloves are a Size Small or Extra Small. They measure 10 inches in length from the longest fingertip to the opening hem. While the lining does have a couple of minor runs or "ladders" in it, the leather is immaculate. I just cleaned and reconditioned them myself with saddlesoap for enhanced luster and suppleness. They have an elegant cut and somehow are sturdy and functional while still being 100% feminine.
